SALICAZ! – “BLUESEUM” BLUES TRİO

Blueseum was started by Bora Çeliker, who won great acclaim with the bands The Crawling Kingsnakes and The King Bees during his university years in Ankara between 1996-2001, and who performed in such cities as İstanbul, Samsun, Van, Kyrenia and Nicosia and in various festivals, after a 15 year break in which he returned to his home town İstanbul and turned his focus to jazz music. Featuring the renowned musicians Vefa Karatay (bass guitar) and Ergin Özler (drums) from the Mojo Blues Band and İstanbul Blues Kumpanyası, Blueseum mostly features Texas, Louisiana, Chicago and West Coast (Los Angeles) music written between 1940-1965 in its repertoire, staying true to the originals at times, while occasionally interpreting them freely.
