Having achieved great success in their career which they started in a very early age, and having accompanied many masters of jazz and pop on stage and in the studio, the saxophonist brothers Anıl and Batu Şallıel appeal to a wide audience with their Şallıel Bros project, with which they play their own compositions. Regarded among Türkiye’s best saxophonists, Anıl Şallıel (1993) and Batu Şallıel (1994) were born in Mersin. The brothers were 10 and 9 years old respectively when they began music tuition under their saxophonist father Mümin Şallıel.
The brothers performed their father’s compositions in a concert titled “2 Saksafon” at the 12th İKSV Young Jazz contest to great acclaim, and played numerous concerts together on stage with the Şallıel Bros project, which they launched at the ages of 14 and 13. The artists will be accompanied by Kaan Bıyıkoğlu on piano, Enver Muhamedi on bass and Ekin Cengizkan on drums.
