Sailing to Byzantium is a ritualistic drama by composer Onur Türkmen that focuses on parallels between the works of two great 20th Century writers: the Irish poet William Butler Yeats (1865 – 1939) and the Turkish poet Ahmet Haşim (1884 – 1933). This concert will feature Yurodny Ensemble from Ireland along with classical Turkish music performers, Nermin Kaygusuz and Miase Bayramoğlu Örümlü.
