Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası / Hiçbir Şey Yerinde Değil

With four dancers and a musician, Hiçbir Şey Yerinde Değil invites its audience to an audio-visual universe, opening up the concepts of loss, displacement and migration to discussion through the language of contemporary dance. With objects that divide, separate and get moved, places of foundation, belonging and abandonment are formed. In this performance, where the bodies that transform into one another, touch and part from one another are accompanied by the live music of Ahmet Kenan Bilgiç, the members of the dance company reflect on the timely notion of migration through the history of the peoples of the world, as well as through their personal histories.

Realized through the invitation of Professor Ulrike M. Vieten of The Queen’s University of Belfast, and in cooperation with Nesrin Uçarlar, author of the book that has inspired the name of the project, “Hiçbir Şey Yerinde Değil” continues to be staged as an example of the company’s performances that take root in a theoretical context.
