When we go to a contemporary art exhibition, how can we be creative in making sense of the works?

In this workshop, artist Sena Başöz approaches the contemporary art world as an ecosystem.

After an introduction of the actors, terms and concepts of this ecosystem and touching upon the different artistic styles and movements that form the basis of the fundamental debates of the 20th century, the workshop aims to offer critical and creative tools that can be used interpreting contemporary works of art.

In the workshop, which proceeds through example artworks, the spectator experiences turning to their inner resources when faced with a work of contemporary art, playing their role in the completion of the creative act.
