Don’t miss the events to be realized in various points of the campus as part of the “Erişiyorsam Varım” week, organized with the collaboration of the Swedish Institute, the Human Rights in Mental Health Intitiative Association (RUSİHAK), the Disabled Women’s Association (ENGKAD), the Swedish Consulate Department of Cultural Affairs, MAVA and SGKM, between 24 October – 3 December! The first film screening within the week, I See You, tells the story of a young blind woman who guides us to view her world through her standpoint and understand her experience of constant dismissal in society. I See You is a film about Rena Yass, who is a blind woman, but her blindness is only a minor detail about her. As she often says, her problem is not that she cannot see, but the outlook of society on her situation.
