The second stop of Bedirhan Dehmen’s journey that started with Güneşli Bir Pazartesi is Mecnun ve Leyla, a work of physical theater “with intense movement tendency, dance, gestures, actions, words and images”, presented with the figures of two excellent young dancers. Narrating a man’s story in duet, Mecnun ve Leyla meets the SGKM audience with the heartfelt choreography of a familiar figure. Bedirhan Dehmen pushes the limits of the body, using dance figures for narration and taking us into a realm of visual metaphors.
