Akbulut has started his guitar studies at Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts and continued on working in Germany for a while. In 1998, he took the first prize in guitar category of “Young Talents” competition which was held by the Presidential Symphony Orchestra. The artist has participated in workshops with Dale Khavanagh, Thomas Müller Pering, Tadashi Sasaki, Manuel Baruecco, Pepe Romero, Alirio Diaz and David Russell. In addition to this, he has performed in many concerts in Türkiye and abroad.

In this concert, Akbulut will perform the most beautiful pieces of guitar literature. The concert program includes the opuses of Bach, Scarlatti, Sor, Cardoso, Albeniz, Tarrega, Brouwer and Dyens.
