Elif Çağlar

Elif Çağlar studied jazz composition at İstanbul Bilgi University Department of Music. She was the first Turkish student to graduate with honors from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, New York. Her widely acclaimed album “M-U-S-I-C” was the first album to be written and arranged by a woman jazz vocalist in Türkiye. Çağlar’s latest album “Misfit”, featuring Aaron Parks, Harish Raghavan and Eric Harland, was published in May 2015.
In September 2020, her first solo vocal song “You Ask My Name” was
released on NU-DC records.
Organized by FOW.Connect in cooperation with Koç University Career Development Center; within the
scope of the Future Skills Fest where art, digital and talent will meet, jazz musician and composer Elif Çağlar will use her voice as an instrument and design music spontaneously with vocal layers without lyrics, and will
officially open the festival with the contributions of SGKM!
