Spoor is a Polish murder mystery in the vein of Fargo that takes place in a snowy mountain town populated by vibrant characters, most of them poochers. The adorable oldster Duszejko, who is a teacher, astrology enthusiast, and animal rights activist, is the protagonist. Shortly after the disappearance of her dogs, a series of murders take place in the town. Master director Agnieszka Holland describes her film as “a cross-genre thriller, an anarchistic-feminist crime story with elements of black comedy.”
