One of the most popular tales of Nikolay Gogol, Diary of A Madman was adapted to theatre in 1965 and was performed as the first solo theatrical performance in Turkey by Genco Erkal at the Ankara Art Theatre. Erkal has performed the play in three different interpretations along the years. The current production marks the 50th anniversary of the adaptation of Gogol’s social black comedy masterpiece.
