This entertaining yet sad film looks at how the craze of social media and the virtual world affect real life not from the standpint of young people but a rather different demographic. The protagonist Claire, a 50 year old academic with two children, creates a fake account on Facebook to spy on her young lover, becoming the 23 year old beautiful blonde Clara. Her lover is not fooled, but his closest friend falls in the trap. Adapted by the French director and actor Safy Nebbou from the novel of the same name by Camille Laurens and standing out with a great performance by Juliette Binoche, the film made its premiere at the Berlin Film Festival.
