“Borusan Quartet was founded in 2005 under the leadership of Prof. Gürer Aykal. The ensemble regularly performs season concerts at Süreyya Opera and represents Turkey on the international stage. Borusan Quartet has delivered performances at prestigious concert halls and festivals, winning numerous awards and being named “Chamber Music Ensemble of the Year” in 2010. They have also contributed to Turkish contemporary music by premiering works by Turkish composers. During the pandemic, they continued to connect with their audience through online concerts. Borusan Quartet has a wide repertoire ranging from the classical period to the modern era.”
