Yeşim Ustaoğlu, famous director with a degree in architecture, explains that spaces are equally important as characters as their “lives and cultural values are determined by locations. The focus of the discussion with Yeşim Ustaoğlu will be on the use and conception of space in her films. The director of Journey to the Sun, Pandora’s Box, Somewhere in Between, Waiting for the Clouds and Clair Obscur will be exploring the impact of architecture on cinema with Koç University Department of Media and Visual Arts faculty member İpek Çelik Rappas.
