Puppet Festival

“Solo” will be performed at Koç University as part of the 25th International Istanbul Puppet Festival!

“Solo,” written and performed by Italy’s renowned puppet master Walter Broggini, is a play that cleverly and satirically explores the theme of death. The story revolves around a puppet who desires death but finds itself unable to achieve it, forcing the characters to confront the inevitable fate while engaging in futile resistance. Comprised of sketches, the play portrays the adventures of characters facing their destiny with a dose of dark humor. “Solo” features intense black comedy and showcases the mastery of Walter Broggini, one of Italy’s foremost contemporary puppet artists.
