Paris, 1967. Jean-Luc Godard, the most controversial director of the time, is filming The Chinese Girl, starring his love Anne, 20 years younger than himself. The happy couple get married, but the interest in the film, and the events of 1968 that follow, cause Jean-Luc to question himself.
