The İmer Demirer Quartet, a group that has performed their own works at various jazz clubs across Turkey and occasionally at festivals, will greet you with a repertoire of jazz standards.

İmer Demirer graduated from the Trumpet Department of Istanbul State Conservatory in 1987. He has been participating in Turkish jazz festivals since 1985 and in 1986, he performed at the Sibiu Jazz Festival in Romania with the Istanbul Jazz Quartet founded by Ali Perret. While continuing to work with Erol Pekcan, Tuna Ötenel, and Emin Fındıkoğlu, he started working at the TRT Istanbul Radio Jazz Orchestra in 1989. He also represented Turkey by participating in the activities of the EBU Jazz Orchestra (Munich, Ljubljana, Prague, Poland, Amsterdam, Switzerland), of which TRT is a member. Additionally, İmer Demirer has recorded as a sideman on some jazz albums in Turkey. From 1997 to 2006, he worked as a lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University. In 2009, he released the album “You Me & Char.”
