Never before has a woman been able to take the cross, which is believed to bring abundance and good fortune, out of the water, but Petrunya will not give up easily. She struggles to shake off the men chasing her to take back the cross, the law enforcement forces, the Church, and the media, who have found the sensational news they were looking for.
