We listen to the struggles of a large family that has migrated from a village to the city from Dirmit, their youngest daughter. In the single-room house they are stuck in, every member of the family has their own way of dealing with the struggle to hold on to life in the city. And the little Dirmit finds many different ways of coping with the difficulties she faces, thanks to her insatiable curiosity and her ability to resist. Her mother Atiye, her father Huvat and her older brothers, who try to protect her from the city, are irritated by her various manners, and guided by customs and traditions, put all kinds of obstacles in her way. But there is no stopping Dirmit!
