Held for the 17th time this year, the Sevgi Gönül Theater Days are opening with the play “Tersine Dünya”, which will be premiered on Monday, 16 April by the Koç University Theater Club actors. The festival will feature eight different plays throughout a two-week period, staging professional plays as well as plays by various university clubs.

Şirin Soysal was born in 1980 in Vienna. She spent her childhood years in various European cities and graduated from the department of Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin, where she also completed her Master’s degree in film. She trained her voice over the years with remarkable teachers such as Mustafa Yurdakul, Tamara Nizhnikova and Randy Esen.

Bilal Karaman started playing guitar at the age of 11. Having found the opportunity to play with leading guitarists from around the world, he performed many times in Turkey and abroad with renowned musicians, taking stage in more than 20 countries. In 2009, he won the First Prize at the Nardis Jazz Guitar Competition. His first solo album “Bahane” was published in 2011.
